The last 10 years has seen big changes and investment in Seminar. We started exporting products to Europe in 2016 which required additional capacity, this came with the investment of robotic welding centres to achieve the throughput we needed. The biggest of these investments was relocating to our own premises in 2021.
Most recently, during this year, we have also commissioned a brand new 400 tonne press to increase capacity further and ensure we can keep as much manufacturing inhouse as possible. Being in control of our supply chain is important to us, our customers demand it. We use UK manufactured steel to keep our carbon footprint small and can react when markets get busy to ensure our customers always have product to sell.
